The real thing! Using sharp chisels craftsmen cut the steel plates into shape. Apprentices do base paint and more mundane details. Village painters hand paint important details. Distressed finish is layered on and the final step is a hand rub with dark colored beeswax. The Snowman is on red skis and has his hat and breifcase in hands. Slight push sets the sculpture in motion. Both arms move when sculpture rocks. These sculptures are hand-made and true originals.
