The real thing! Using sharp chisels craftsmen cut the steel plates into shape. Apprentices do the base paint. Painters hand paint important details. Distressed finish is layered on and the final step is a hand rub with dark colored beeswax. Slight push sets the sculpture in motion. The Sailor's arms move up and down with the oars. These sculptures are hand-made and true originals.
