The real thing! Using sharp chisels craftsmen cut the steel plates into shape. Apprentices do the base paint. Painters hand paint important details. Distressed finish is layered on and the final step is a hand rub with dark colored beeswax. Slight push sets the sculpture in motion. The fisherman's arms move up and down with a hook dangling from the end of the line and string of fish in the other hand. These sculptures are hand-made and true originals.
