The real thing! Using sharp chisels craftsmen cut the steel plates into shape. Apprentices do the base paint. Painters hand paint important details. Distressed finish is layered on and the final step is a hand rub with dark colored beeswax. Slight push sets the sculpture in motion. The fisherman's arms move up and down with a fish dangling off of the string. These sculptures are hand-made and true originals.
